Articles are written in Russian and use a unique format: screamers are described with text and hand-drawn or heavily edited images of the screamer image instead of direct links. There are no quality standards, so users can freely create content about any kind of media involving jumpscares.

== Origin ==
The Anti-Screamers group was originally launched on social media app [[wikipedia:VKontakte|VKontakte]] by Russian user Sergey Smirnov where users shared information and images about screamers. Over time, members tried to create official sites, including a Steam group. In 2011, a basic Wiki-like catalogue of the screamers was created and hosted on that page <ref>https://vk.com/pages?hash=0d60c6b4ea774a1dea&oid=-6443316&p=%D0%92%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%8F</ref>. One of the group's admins Ckopo (Скоро) or Misha Chekan (Миша Чекан)<ref>vk.com/wall-6443316_27116</ref> later founded the wiki version on Wikia (now FANDOM), called Anti-Screamers Wiki. This allowed group members and new visitors from Russia to post articles like on VK. This wiki existed even before the one and only international [[Screamer Wiki:About|Screamer Wiki]] was created.

If you click the play button, it moves around the screen. This happens once more, until eventually it actually starts the game.
