The '''BME Pain Olympics''' is a series of promotional [[shock site|shock videos]] released by ''BME'', short for ''Body Modification E-zine'', beginning in 2002. ''BME'' is a website created by Canadian blogger Shannon Larratt in 1994, that is dedicated to covering extreme body modifications and erotic body play. These videos consist of genital mutilation contests, showing different people drastically mutilating, burning, electrocuting, and dilating each other's genitals painfully, hence the name "Pain Olympics".

The creator was born on September 29, 1973, and died on March 15, 2013, in Toronto, Canada.

It was later confirmed by Larratt that the first instalment was faked, but all the other sequels are 100% real. The promotional sequels were linked on Shannon's blog and can be downloaded and viewed off the blog's video section alongside other videos of extreme body modification. ''BMEvideo Trailer 3'' was the third and is often mistaken to be the last or even first of the BME promotional videos. The music playing in the video is a cover of Destiny's Child's ''Survivor'' which was recorded by the band Knockout for the album ''Punk Goes Pop''. It is also known as ''Spankwire'' due to being posted to the now-defunct porn site Spankwire.com under the title "''One of the Scariest videos out there, Mature''" in 2005, although it was eventually removed in 2011 after having accumulated over 3 million views.

The latest and darkest trailer for BME was produced by Larratt. Many people think that this is the worst. The song played in the video is Estilo Do Ghetto by Brazilian rapper "BlackAlien" (BlackAlien). Initially, it was uploaded to Larratt's "MODBlog", but the video was not viewable. As mentioned above, this is a very rare discovery. Until recently it had no contact with its surface.
