El Laberinto de Blu (Bloo's Maze) is a screamer Flash game that was available on the Latin-American Cartoon Network website in October 2008, based on the animated series Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. The game was a parody of The Maze.

It was available on the website from 2008 to 2011, when it was removed after the website got restructuration. It was also available on the Brazilian Cartoon Network website, where it was called "O Labirinto do Blu".

The game is well known in the Spanish-speaking Lost Media community, where many members tried to find a copy of the game before Adobe Flash closed on January 1, 2021, all in vain, unfortunately. One thing that was only available from this game besides two screenshots of the game's thumbnail from the Brazilian and Argentinian websites is a gameplay video (although it doesn't show the entire game, and the scream is the one from Zoeken due to editing.)

Before it was removed, it was also available on an actually defunct Flash game website named "Manobros.com", which can be accessed using Wayback Machine, and the thumbnail and description showing the title screen are what remained on the game's page.

On July 21, 2021, the game was found by Hispanic Lost Media Wiki user MatyGamingHD and Flashpoint user Ganonthegreat in a CDN by Turner, after which the game was uploaded in a Google Drive folder, along with its different versions for different Latin-American countries as shown in their filenames, mx (Mexico), ve (Venezuela), br (Brazil), cl (Chile), ar (Argentina), and la (Latinamerica), for the rest of the country, although they're the same game save for the language in the Brazilian Portuguese variant.

Gameplay
As stated above, the game is a parody of The Maze, meaning it has similar gameplay; unlike the Maze, the title screen contains an instructions option, where besides telling how to play, it tells the player to turn up the speakers, to supposedly hear a "code" that Bloo will give the player upon reaching the end. After starting the game, using the mouse, you have to control Bloo through a white maze surrounded by turquoise-color grass with trees (instead of walls) to avoid touching, to try to reach a brown rectangle with an animated, shining key at the end.

While reaching more than half of the maze, The Grim from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy pops up, with a male voice yelling "NOOOO!", and then goes into an end screen; showing merchandise, along with three Toonix avatars in Halloween costumes, and two thumbnails for screamer videos created by CN for the Month of Terror, an option to go to the dedicated microsite, and a bottom text telling the player to send it to his/her friends, all in a background that is dark red with blood splotches.
Optical Illusions was a Flash animation developed by Jeremy Winterrowd in 2006.

The animation is a showcase of various optical illusions, such as the scintillating grid illusion, and the café wall illusion. The third and fourth images instead have to do with how many horses/faces the viewer sees respectively.

Every image has a "next" button at the bottom which allows you to advance to the next illusion. However, once the viewer reaches the fourth illusion, the "next" button stops working; it's a fake. Eventually, a GIF of Sarah Novak from the The Exorcist appears and punches the screen, followed by a still image of her.
Optical Illusions was a Flash animation developed by Jeremy Winterrowd in 2006.

The animation is a showcase of various optical illusions, such as the scintillating grid illusion, and the café wall illusion. Ever been so wide awake?

In April 2004, a German beverage company named K-fee released nine 20-second-long television commercials as part of their Wide Awake campaign to advertise their coffee drink. These commercials have been heavily criticized for their content and many feel that the adverts are very uncommercial and upsetting. However, their shocking visual is built to simulate the effect that the product has on the viewer.

The commercials consist of peaceful scenes, such as a car driving down a grassy hillside to soothing music. However, at some point in the ad, the scene gets briefly interrupted by either a zombie or a gargoyle screaming at the camera, followed by the company's advertising campaign and the product, accompanied by a fast heartbeat.

K-fee received a lot of complaints from their viewers, and soon after that, the ads stopped being aired on television. Some people say that on some other occasions, a warning message was displayed before the advert played, informing any young children, easily scared individuals, and people with heart or certain health conditions to not view the footage. However, this is unproven.

An episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, aired in April 2005, featured a segment where the audience and Jay reacted to K-fee's Car commercial. It was hosted on K-fee's official website from 2004 to 2007 along with the other adverts. The K-fee Car commercial was also featured in 2005 on Tarrant on TV, a famous British show, as well as on America's Funniest Home Videos.

On January 29th, 2021, Rhys Lapsley (Wollstone Studios, Rhys Productions 11 on this wiki) uploaded a one-hour documentary video featuring the actors from the commercials as well as several others involved in their legacy of them.
The commercials
Each commercial had both German and English versions, with the captions at the end in the respective language. There was also either a zombie or a gargoyle at the end of each advert. The zombie was played by American actor Brad Johnson, and the gargoyle was played by his brother, Adam Johnson. These ads were first aired on television on April 30th, 2005.

Commercials featuring the zombie
Car (Auto in German)
The commercial begins with a relaxing scene of a white car driving down a grassy hillside to soothing music. When the car passes behind a large tree, the camera follows. Once it pans off the tree, the car is gone. Then, a zombie suddenly pops into the scene very briefly accompanied by <span>a frightening scream,</span> scaring the viewer. This commercial is more commonly known as Ghost Car, Spooky Car or Scary Car Commercial. The commercial was filmed at 36°46'09.3"N 119°15'21.9"W, which is located near Kings Canyon Joint Unified, California.
Fishing (Angler in German)
This shows a man fishing in a lake, and not long afterward the zombie appears, surprisingly not looking directly into the camera as it screams.
Yoga
This shows a person practicing yoga on a cliff, and as soon as the person lifts their hand, the zombie seemingly appears out of nowhere, screaming. (The zombie chroma key seems to be the same one used in the Fishing/Angler ad, but the dark obscures its face.) This commercial was likely filmed at Joshua Tree National Park.
Meadow (Wiese in German)
The video starts with a field of wildflowers and a pollinating bee. It then cuts to a meadow with some bicycles leaning against a large tree, and the camera stops moving at a certain point. The zombie, not long afterward, shows up from the left side of the screen and screams.
Surfing
This is a far away view of a person on a beach going to the ocean to go surfing. Then the zombie appears from the right side of the screen and screams. (The zombie chroma key seems to be the same one used in the Car/Auto ad, but it's zoomed in.) This commercial is also known as Beach 3, or Surfer.

Commercials featuring the gargoyle
Beach (Strand in German)
This depicts two lovers on a beach about to kiss, and just as they do, the gargoyle jumps up screaming from the bottom of the screen, blocking the view, with blood dripping from its mouth. K-fee Beach was filmed at Point Dume State Beach.
Boardwalk (Weg in German)
This shows a relaxing scene of a boardwalk near a beach, with a jogger in the distance who can be heard breathing, and soon stops to take a break and look at the beach. The camera then pans to the beach as well, and shortly after it stops moving, the gargoyle appears upside-down and screams. This commercial is also known as Beach 2. This commercial was filmed at Moonstone Beach Boardwalk in Cambria, CA.
Buddha
This depicts a woman sitting in a garden, meditating near a Buddha statue. The camera briefly cuts to the statue and then to the woman, and when it moves away to its original view, the gargoyle jumps up screaming. Its face is so close to the camera that it is out of focus.
Golf
A man is shown golfing from far away. Eventually, a faint putting sound is heard, and shortly afterward, the gargoyle appears upside-down and screams. This is the only spot that does not include any background music.

K-fee radio advertisements
In December 2004, K-fee released four radio advertisements: Investment, Love, Relaxation and Christmas. The ads were available in English and German.

Investment
* English version (0:29): The ad starts with a man saying the following: "Would you like to know how to make more of your money? Then, listen carefully. We've got an investment tip for you that promises top returns. This investment will guarantee you a worry-free life and allow you to fulfill cherished dreams. All with a monthly payment starting from just 20 euros. All you have to do..." Then, the sentence gets interrupted by the same loud scream used in the other commercials. Then, a voice reads "Ever been so wide awake? K-fee. Canned caffeine with coffee."
=== Love ===
* English version (0:33): The ad starts with lullaby music and a young girl's voice saying, "Mummy mummy, how much do you love me?" Then, a woman's voice says: "I love you from here to the moon." "How far is that?" "Hm. It's so far." "Is that so much?" "Yes, my love. I love you so much. Now close your eyes sweetie, and listen while I read you a story. Once upon a time, there was a little dormouse called Piff. One day, it went..." Then, the sentence gets interrupted by the same loud scream used in the other commercials. Then, a voice reads "Ever been so wide awake? K-fee. Canned caffeine with coffee."

Relaxation
* English version (0:49): The ad starts with the same music used in the K-fee Buddha commercial. Then, a soft-spoken woman's voice said the following: "And now, an exercise to help you relax. Make yourself comfortable. Close your eyes. Breathe in deeply through your nose. Keep your mouth shut. Feel that deep breath go down to your tummy. In, and out. And in, and out. And in, and out. And in, and..." Then, the sentence gets interrupted by the same loud scream used in the other commercials. Then, a voice reads "Ever been so wide awake? K-fee. Canned caffeine with coffee."

Christmas
* English version (0:51): The ad starts with the sound of a clock ticking. Then, a Santa Claus voice says the following: "Ah, Christmas time again at last. And we all have such wonderful childhood memories. Pretty little crooked houses, with chimneys puffing out trails of smoke. Ha, yes. And the icicles glistening in the moonlight all around. The snow crunches softly under our feet, and when we come into the cozy warmth of our houses, the smell of delicious baked apples and freshly baked mince pies, and oh how excited we are when we finally, finally hear the sound signaling the arrival of Christmas..." Then, the sentence gets interrupted by the same loud scream used in the other K-fee commercials. Then, a voice reads "Ever been so wide awake? K-fee. Canned caffeine with coffee."

K-fee light-version advertisements
In December 2005, K-fee released new commercials for their line of Latte Macchiato drinks that parodied their prank flash-style commercials. Using the footage from three of K-fee's most popular commercials (Auto, Beach, and Golf), the company replaced the zombie or gargoyle at the end of the ad with a man (for the zombie) or teddy bear (for the gargoyle) or demon-masked face (for the "upside-down" gargoyle), followed by the text "Jetzt auch mit weniger Koffein." (translated to English as "Now With Less Caffeine") or in the English version, "Now, without so much caffeine." and a picture of a Latte Macchiato Classic or Latte Macchiato Vanilla bottle. The Latte Macchiato commercials were made in English and German and used the same soundtracks from the original versions but higher-pitched. These ads were first aired on television on December 27th, 2005.
* Auto (Light): A man in a light polo shirt appears from the bottom instead of the zombie and softly says “Boo!” in an effeminate, almost teasing voice. The advertised product is K-fee Latte Macchiato Classic.
* Beach (Light): A smiling teddy bear (possibly a hand puppet) appears instead of the gargoyle and giggles. The advertised product is K-fee Latte Macchiato Classic.
* Golf (Light): The demon-masked face appears (but zoomed in) and roars. (he can already be seen clumsily attempting to hide at the bottom of the screen before he rises.) More birds are chirping in background than in the original version. The advertised product is K-fee Latte Macchiato Vanilla.

K-fee magazine advertisements
Between December 2006 and February 2009, K-fee released multiple picture-based advertisements in magazines presumably in Germany. Little is known about these advertisements, such as what magazines they appeared in.

Parodies
On the Internet, an alternate ending shows, instead of the product and the slogan, the text: "Now...Go Change Your Shorts And Get Back To Work!" in Arial Black instead of the normal ending; the video has gained over 12 million views as of 2018. Other manifestations of this ad include being sent as part of a chain mail which supposedly depicts a ghost appearing during the filming of a television ad (sometimes from Great Britain); the viewer is instructed to follow the car closely, as a "mist" is supposed to appear next to the car at some point. The "mist", of course, never does appear, and the commercial plays out as described above, much to the chagrin of the viewer.

The Amazing World of Gumball
In the British-American Cartoon Network animated series The Amazing World of Gumball (season 2) episode named "The Internet", parodies the K-fee commercials. In one scene, Gumball and Darwin appear randomly browsing Elmore Stream-It while watching videos. Among these videos, they come across what is implied to be the K-fee Auto ad.

Gumball reacts to the video on the website, commenting on the white car driving through the hills and staring closely at the screen, when suddenly the loud scream is heard, causing him to have an intense reaction which gets recorded and posted to the web. The rest of the episode involves Gumball trying to get the video removed, which has given him unwanted fame.

* Meadow (Wiese in German): The video starts with a field of wildflowers and a pollinating bee.

=== Love ===

Awards
K-fee has won two awards for its advertisements.
* Clio Awards 2005 (Bronze Award): K-fee's Investment, Love, Relaxation and Christmas radio advertisements.

* Fishing (Angler in German): This shows a man fishing in a lake, and not long afterward the zombie appears, surprisingly not looking directly into the camera as it screams.
* Meadow (Wiese in German): The video starts with a field of wildflowers and a pollinating bee.

Love

* Fishing (Angler in German): This shows a man fishing in a lake, and not long afterward the zombie appears, surprisingly not looking directly into the camera as it screams.
* Meadow (Wiese in German): The video starts with a field of wildflowers and a pollinating bee.

* Golf: A man is shown golfing from far away.

* German version (0:26): "Möchten Sie wissen, wie Sie mehr aus Ihrem Geld machen? Dann hören Sie jetzt gut zu. === Love ===

Awards
K-fee has won two awards for its advertisements.
* Clio Awards 2005 (Bronze Award): K-fee's Investment, Love, Relaxation and Christmas radio advertisements.

Winterrowd.com, formerly Bloggits, was a well-known website featuring a large library of screamers created by Jeremy Winterrowd. Many of these games and videos were designed to trick people into getting scared, such as The Maze, Hit the Dot, Optical Illusions, Swearing Baby, and more.

Background
The website has a similar background to the old YouTube homepage and features a blue heading at the top. Visitors can access games, screamers, and animations from the layout. However, some links, such as the forum and "How to submit" option, have been defunct for some time, despite the website being active. Attempts to access these links now result in an error. Visitors can log in or register using the website's system or log in using their Facebook account. Additionally, the website includes links to Wintterowd's official social media pages on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and others. Thumbnails of games and animations created by Jeremy Wintterowd and other submitters are displayed below and can be clicked on for access. When viewing a screamer page, visitors have the option to view it in full-screen mode or share the screamer with friends. The website also includes a link to its counterpart Bloggits.
History
The website was registered in 2001 During these early days, the website was used to host Winterrowd's resume and did not contain any screamers. In 2005, however, Jeremy Winterrowd decided to host The Maze and start a blog on the website; the blog posted both Winterrowd's new screamer creations as well as more personal topics, such as Winterrowd crashing his Jeep. This continued until 2010 when Winterrowd removed the personal blog and changed the website into exclusively a screamer website, also known as "Winterrowd Solutions."

On April 1, 2014, Winterrowd's website was down for maintenance, leading him to announce that his website was crashed due to many people having visited the site (for screamers) for half an hour, it was then backed up a few hours later.

In March 2020, 9 months before the discontinuation of Flash, Winterrowd.com was shut down.

Bloggits
Bloggits was Winterrowd's second website. It was registered on April 13, which tended to be a platform for his games and animations. It was registered when he lives in Arizona, However, it was then redirected to his original website in November 2006 and removed all of the links that lead to Bloggits.

Winterrowd Prank Contest
Winterrowd also held a contest in that same year called the Winterrowd Prank Contest, where you had to record the reactions of someone and upload them to the website, and he would upload them to a channel named prankcontest. The website was getting bigger and bigger every time there was a screamer uploaded, depending on how famous it was and how many reaction videos there ever were. The website was also very controversial, considering that it had many scary games and videos. But overall, it had an outstanding reputation. And it can be considered the father of all screamers, it was announced on its website in April 2007.

Popularity
The website was featured in America's Funniest Home Videos, The Soup, Web Junk 20, and MSNBC's Countdown.
{{Quote|I made this game in October of '04 for Halloween and sent it to a few of my friends in an email. About 5 months later, someone had sent the same email back to my mother! The Maze, also known as the Scary Maze Game, is an infamous internet Flash screamer created in October 2004 by game developer and programmer Jeremy Winterrowd, originally posted to his personal website "Winterrowd.com".

This Flash prank disguises itself as a simple maze game in which the player has to utilize their mouse cursor to move a small dot through the maze. At the start screen, there is a note informing the player that the objective of the game is to pass through all four levels, and the player cannot touch the walls; however, there are only three levels in the game. The game also explains that it is best with the volume on, but there's no sound in any part of the game.

Gameplay
The first two levels are easy to complete. But as the third level is reached, the walls begin to shrink and have sharp turns, making it difficult to avoid touching them. This usually makes the player concentrate on the screen. Then, near the first curve to the left of the maze sharp part (The game also knows if the player is cheating; if they use right-click), a close-up image of Regan MacNeil (the possessed character portrayed by Linda Blair) from the 1973 supernatural horror film The Exorcist pops up along with a loud, distorted scream that plays twice, scaring the player.

The game was uploaded to Jeremy's now-defunct personal website, Winterrowd.com in 2005. The original version of the game had some slight differences in colors, where orange/yellow with alternative text was used instead of cyan. There's an alternative version of the game that is used in the comedy television series America's Funniest Home Videos, where Regan at the end is replaced with the one from What's Wrong?, due to concerns regarding copyrighted content.

Reactions
Reaction videos

Many people have posted videos of other people reacting to the game. The first reaction video on YouTube was uploaded by OUTLAW713, on February 21, 2006. In the reaction video, a young kid, Justice, is playing the maze. Then, he is surprised by the screamer. Shocked, he starts screaming and repeatedly hitting the computer screen. He then runs to his stepdad, Chad, and starts crying. The original video and channel were terminated or taken down sometime in 2009, however, some reuploads had over 27 million views.
The most viewed Maze Game video was uploaded by YouTube user nalts and has accumulated over 43 million views as of October 2017. However, the video was removed due to the channel's termination.

Level 4
Even though only three levels exist in the game code, some videos circulated about a secret fourth level. On YouTube, there are some fake videos of people supposedly successfully going through the 3rd level and finally entering the 4th level, instead of a screamer. The earliest "tutorial" on how to get to the 4th level was uploaded by the YouTube user SoccerMomDebbie on October 19, 2008.

Other videos of the mysterious level continued to circulate.
Plafo the Platformer.exe was a screamer game for Microsoft Windows made with GameMaker Lite 8.1.

In this game, players control the main (And only) character named Plafo, and supposedly, the goal of the game is to avoid the obstacles and reach the black lines at the end of the screen. When the game is launched, The player will start off in the First Level while chiptune music plays. There is nothing special in the first level as there is nothing to avoid. When reaching the second level, Plafo needs to avoid a big hole, if Plafo falls in the hole, the whole level restarts.

When reaching the Fifth level, there will be red blocks with "OOF" written on them and the only way to avoid them is to pull a Yellow Lever so that the "OOF" blocks can be destroyed. And finally, when reaching the Final Seventh Level, instead of the black lines there will be a black door with the "OOF" Blocks surrounding it. When pulling the Yellow Lever which destroys the "OOF" blocks, and when touching the Black Door, a gray face with black eyes and mouth appears, without a scream.
