The Pain Series contains seven images involving dead people, genital diseases, mutilation, unborn babies, gore, pornography, images from other shock sites like [[Goatse]] and [[Tubgirl]], and more gruesome content, while a Loud Nigra scream plays. The images on Kittens are also clickable links to the [[Last Measure]] shock site, which has pornographic content and will harm your computer. Pages that include the pain series are Kittens, Puppies, and more.

The images were created by user Huge_Midget, who appears to be first noticed on the Something Awful forums. He posted a message that [[Goatse]] was not too shocking to most users and created the images that became part of the Pain Series.

Soon after, this image was popularized by [[Encyclopedia Dramatica]] and was used in [[Offended|some]] [[Reporting Un-Islamic Content|articles]].

'''Fake Fancams''' (also called the '''Fancam Situation''') are [[shock videos]] uploaded and shared on Twitter and Instagram pretending to be a fancam video (a clip made and uploaded by fans to promote an artist and/or their music), made for baiting users into watching either a [[screamer]] or disturbing imagery, including but not limited to murder, torture, self-harm and suicide. The fancams originally started with K-Pop, but later expanded to other things.

This phenomenon appeared at the end of May 2020. Many K-pop stans have found red flags to identify the members of groups from where it originated such as keywords ("slit" or "slitz") and symbols.

Fake fancams made a resurgence in late December 2020. @ASUKLY made a bait-and switch image with the word "click me!" however, expanding the image would show show photos of self-harm.<ref>https://twitter.com/czbain/status/1338182574695469061</ref> The tweet has since been removed. The twitter account [https://twitter.com/fancamsituation @fancamsituation] and the #stopusingfancamsasbait hashtag were created to spread awareness and who to block.

* Answering to their DMs were made ''would'' lead to your account being stolen.
* Answering to their DMs ''would'' lead to your doxxing.
