Murder Investigation is a flash-based screamer game that features a mystery to solve regarding a murder case of a family.

The player is tasked with finding clues throughout the game and must identify the killer. Failure to do so results in the killer murdering the player, accompanied by a series of frightening images and screeching sounds. The images displayed during the game include a puppet's face, a negative image of the puppet's face, an eye, and a stretched-out mouth screaming. Interestingly, these same images are also displayed upon winning the game. At the start of the game, players click "Finish" to load the main page of the site. However, the screamer no longer works, not even in the archive.

A walkthrough for the game also exists, which requires the installation of Adobe Flash Player or Ruffle on the player's computer to function properly.
Murder Investigation Walkthrough was multi-screamer game created in 2002, it's a "walkthrough" to Murder Investigation, The screamer pretends to be just a game where the player has to search a 2D house for clues regarding a murder case. However, during the search a blurry picture of a corpse will appear along with an extremely loud screech. There is also a note. Now the player has two choices: try to figure out what it says or reveal the answer.

If the player chooses to figure it out the note will be displayed, but after some seconds a picture of a cloaked eye (possibly the same eye that appears in Murder Investigation) appears along with a piercing scream. If the player chooses to reveal the answer it displays the answer along with a text, but after some seconds the picture of the note saying "DIE" appears along with a very loud scream. There are tons of screamers in this game but only these were found so far. Due to the hosting site being offline, however, it can be accessed through the Web Archive.
SCP-450 was a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by a user nu11 (originally Andreyj857) on December 4, 2010. The title is a reference to the SCP Foundation. More specifically, as the title suggests, SCP-450 isn't related to the information about the picture of the hallway used in the video. The creator also made BИD of Doom and ВИD in Hell.

This video begins with a warning message that the materials in the video may damage one's health and watch at their own risk. After that message, a dark-brown hallway (also known as Eastern State Penitentiary's Cellblock 14) is shown with eerie sounds and music in the background.

After around 50 seconds, a picture of an adorable kitten accompanied by a meow pops up, and afterward, the credits start. The following line is shown: "THANKS FOR WATCHING! prepare to shit brix >;3". After this line appears from the bottom, a flurry of well-known screamer faces will appear and zoom to the viewer in a fast slideshow fashion with accompanying screams. The screamers include:

* A close-up image of Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist.
* A close-up of a man's face with red and white paint around his eyes and mouth.
* El Ayuwoki.
* Pazuzu.
* The Tic-Tac-Toe zombie.
* Ahenobarbus Henocied.
* The Gunther from the 1981 slasher film The Funhouse.
* A sad-looking girl with pitch-black eyes and an open mouth.
* The What's Wrong face.
* Katie Embry.
* The Fatal Frame ghost.
* The Sajjad Ali banshee.
* Smile Dog.
* Method Man with the mouth of a cookie-cutter shark.

One second later, Jeff the Killer appears while a short clip of the song I Shot The Sheriff by the late Bob Marley plays. After that, Regan MacNeil pops up again while the face zooms up and seemingly "headbutts" the screen.

It had over 140,000 views as of November 2014, but the video is now private. But there are still copies of it.

An alternative version of the screamer adds a demon child from Dead Birds and Amy the Vampire from Fright Night to to the flurry of screamer faces. Instead of Jeff the Killer being accompanied by "I Shot The Sheriff", he flashes with a loud droning screen, then the edited VID mask crashes into the screen with a loud roar. The screen goes black and it seems like it's over, but then Jeff the Killer and Regan MacNeil pop up again with the same scream from the Scary Maze Game.
Barney Special! is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by a user hotdogainors on April 28, 2007.

The video starts with clips of Barney & Friends from the '90s of Barney with the song Hit 'Em Up by the late 2Pac playing in the background to make it look like Barney is rapping, only to get interrupted by a photo of Barney's face with the same scream from Aladdin subliminal message. Throughout the video, before the screamer segment appears, the song is edited to have an extremely low volume to entice the user to crank the video to full volume. The video was taken from another video without a screamer, and low volume called Barney & Friends Hit Em Up!. An alternative version of the screamer replaces the picture of Barney's face with a negative image of a man with his mouth wide open and his eyes edited out of his eye sockets.
Night Vision was a Flash screamer game created by Sugarqube in 2003. The game contains three pictures and tells the player to use look for a hidden ghost in each picture. The game also prompts the player to switch off the lights, turn up volume and that the player might need to look multiple times to find the ghost.

Clicking the thumbnail below the window will bring the player to each scene with dark mask on the picture, and your cursor will turn to text "Click to make your night-vision work." Clicking will make the player's cursor a round circle with green filter, simulating a night vision camera. A few times after clicking, either the screen turns dark with text "Not Here" shows followed by returning to scene select screen, or a girl with her face blurred out appears and screams.

If the player adjusts the frame of the flash object to make the height more than the visible area, the player will see a text block toggling between "Scare" and "No Scare", which turned out to be for debugging purposes. after activating the night vision, the text block will stop toggling, and what it says will happen soon.
