The screamer was made as a response video to an early viral video on Youtube called "''Magic? Think Again.''" The original video was a showcase of a famous bar trick where 2 shot glasses, one filled with water and the other filled with whisky, are stacked on top of each other with a credit card placed in between. The person performing the trick then begins to move the credit card ever-so-slightly to allow the whisky and water to switch places seemingly by "magic." The "magic" is really just simple physics, as alcohol is less dense than water, the water flows to the bottom glass while the whisky flows to the top.

The screamer took the viral video and added text to the video that "explains" to the viewer how the "magic" actually works, with the original audio also being heavily reduced (for the viewer to raise their volume and intensify the screamer). After the two glasses are stacked ontop of each other, the uploader explains through more text that "you have to watch very closely to the glasses." After a few more seconds into the video, a blue window/border shows up where the liquids are shifting glasses (to "aid" with focus) as a picture of Nevla from the Bollywood film "''Bandh Darwaza"'' zooms in from the center with a stock sound scream. The video ends on a final text saying "''sorry ;) just kiddin!!!''"

Interestingly, the video was renamed to "Magic? Think Again "Scary thing!"" around August 29th, 2007.
