hi, so the gore junkies link which is this one right here web.archive.org/web/20220822204114/gorejunkies.com, when I used to go to the wiki before it got deleted and I clicked that same link and it showed me a different layout and also different content of the website. It was like I was on a desktop version of the site but when I go and search for gore junkies through the internet archive wayback machine it's a different website layout and design. Trolls would tell victims to search for an image of a blue waffle on Google's Image Search, only to be surprised by a close-up shot of a diseased vagina.

[[Shock site|Shock sites]] were made in response to the popularity blue waffle was getting. Most mirrors consisted of just the image with a small description. The picture originated on Usenet under the name “bluesky.jpg” in 2004.

The picture shows a vagina with multiple ulcers from Behçet's Disease. The shock image is edited; the image is more saturated, and the vulva is color-replaced with a blue-green color. In Trenton, New Jersey, a councilwoman named Kathy McBride became a victim of the hoax during a City Council meeting in 2013, when she received a concerned call from a resident asking what Trenton was doing to combat blue waffle disease.<ref><nowiki>https://www.nj.com/mercer/2013/04/trenton_councilwoman_falls_pre.html</nowiki></ref>

There are many variations of this site, including "Red Pancake" and "Giant Cheese Taco". Red Pancake shows a picture of an anus with a Buschke-Löwenstein tumor (A rare tumor caused by HPV). Giant Cheese Taco offers a picture of a vagina with large yellowish ulcers from AIDS/HIV.

Another website called "Genetic Waffle" also existed, which consisted of a pornographic image of a vagina that is either prolapsing or suffering from vulvitis. The website was created sometime in late 2011 by [[Heyya.org]], and the title of the site was inspired by Blue Waffle, along with the picture itself. All of these sites have shut down.

The animation was originally uploaded to [[Newgrounds]] by the user PimpMasterKDOG (or simply called by his short pseudonym, KDOG) on Dec 16th, 2001.

The original begins with the main menu and a start button. The gameplay is to find Waldo in crowded people, from the PC game ''[[wikipedia:Where's Waldo in the Circus|Where's Waldo in the Circus]]''. Once the player finds it (Waldo is behind the grandma's shoulder), the text: "Congratulation" appears before being replaced by "''You Found Waldo''"; this version does not have a [[screamer]]. Another [[screamer]] was shortly made after, uploaded to [[Newgrounds]] at 10:32 PM, which doesn't contain a [[screamer]] likewise to the previous.

[[Jeremy Winterrowd]] commented that this was the first screamer he had seen, which inspired him to make [[The Maze]] game.

The original [[screamer]] version was published on July 17th, 2002, by TheGuyYouAllHate, with Waldo removed from a large crowd of people, and inviting the player to find him while [https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/57335 circus music] plays. After about 30 seconds, a picture of [[Pazuzu]] from the 1973 horror film ''[[wikipedia:The Exorcist (film)|The Exorcist]]'' appears, accompanied by a scream from the video game ''[[wikipedia:Mortal Kombat 2|Mortal Kombat 2]]'' before cutting back to the image, now with the music muted. In the description, it states that it was made a few weeks ago. TeKZoned hosted this version.

There's an alternate version of this with a flashing image of the [[What's Wrong?|What's Wrong]] face with yellow lights in its eye sockets, accompanied by a [https://soundideas.sourceaudio.com/track/7626051 different scream], followed by [[wikipedia:Scooby-Doo_(character)|Scooby-Doo]]'s laugh. * Nothing about 5 seconds, then The Nun pops up along with a loud scream.
* A spinning ball, much like the "''Beach ball of death''" found on Apple Macs.
* Fades into a hall, then slowly moves down the room, a bell tolls, then The Nun appears.

After many users' complaints, YouTube pulled the ads from their site for containing "shocking content".

Other users claim a very similar ad is on Instagram & Snapchat, but rather than being one of the aforementioned ads, it's a flashing warning sign.

Inside the toy store, Jeffy grabs 2 different toys, and throws them to the ground, Mario says that he needs to stop throwing the toys, Mario finds a toy of Baymax from the film Big Hero 6, and throws it, a Toys R Us employee appears, telling Mario that it's mature to throw toys. Jeffy finds a doll with a scratched face, no eyes, blue dress, and dirty foot, Mario says that he needs to put it back. At home, Jeffy placed the doll in a couch, Mario is still frightened. Around half the video, an eerie song starts playing. Jeffy is in his crib, with the doll on the edge, asking personal questions about Mario, a lightning strikes into the power outage of Mario's house, where the lights go off, Rosalina has to go back to her home, where Mario pretends to be a man, and follows her to the door, Mario closes the door and wakes up Jeffy, he then notices the doll disappear, later, the doll sings an eerie song, Jeffy is possessed by the song, then he screams at Mario, and runs to get a flashlight, he then sees the doll at the bottom of the stairs, in which the doll bounces at the right, Mario follows the doll, in which is completely scared, then, a loud door closes rapidly, Mario checks on it, the doll suddenly appears in the window, Mario hides in a blanket in fear, he hears a loud glass shattering noise, he then sees a thousand glass pieces, and blood on the kitchen table, which says "LIAR", after Mario finishes pronouncing the word, the doll appears, with a SFX of a woman scream, Mario falls to the ground and hears Rosalina's laugh inside the doll, she takes off the doll's head, only to reveal a setup from her, she says that Mario lied to her about the shock video. Later at the couch, Mario says to Rosalina if Jeffy was in the setup the whole time, Rosalina says that she hid the doll at the toy store and told Jeffy to bring it home, Jeffy asks Mario that he wants to go to the toy store to buy a real toy, Mario denies him, but suddenly, it cuts to a picture of the same doll in Jeffy's crib, accompanied by the same scream. Then the video ends and asks to the viewer, "what would of happened if that doll haunted you?", Then the outro starts.

He made his very first appearance on the [[:File:ScreamerChecker.png|original logo]]. Since then, he has become an iconic figure representing the wiki and its unique identity. Buster later made an appearance on places around the wiki such as logos, templates, etc.

Buster is a circular ghost-like being with a gray body, glowing yellow eyes and a big pink tongue. Some interpretations of him include slight variations, such as different expressions or accessories.

Buster's personality is currently unknown since not much information is known about him. However, he is known to act the same as a dog sometimes.
