In the summer of 2019, American musician, animator, and [[YouTube]]r Devin Millar, under his Finder Lurker alias, created 21 videos of what "modernized" advertisements for the now-defunct coffee-flavored energy drink company [[K-fee]] would’ve looked like. These commercials are similar to the [[K-fee commercials|original advertisements]] the company had originally made.

Devin originally claimed the ads were official, but this was proven to be false. Devin did the editing, filming, narration, and even the monster all by himself.

==The commercials==
There are English, German, Espresso, Radio, and even poster advertisements of the commercials, all created by Finder Lurker, and they are all in similar formulas to the original advertisements. They all start with a peaceful scene along with peaceful music, before getting briefly interrupted by a monster at the end, screaming and possibly scaring the viewer. Except instead of Adam, or Brad Johnson, it is Devin Millar himself as a Demonic Ghost-like creature with dark eyes and a long smile. (Similar to that of [[Jeff the Killer]], or [[Momo]].)

There were also "Light" versions similar to the original ones for the original commercials made by the same company, but this time it was Finder Lurker's version. The music is even slightly higher-pitched in the same way to match the original atmosphere of the video advertisements.

==Magazine Advertisements==
Finder Lurker also had created "Magazine" advertisements that had artwork of disturbing imagery of cartoon teenagers and children killing their parents, authority figures, and vice versa, and of very obscure art intended to wake up the viewers in the same way as the original magazine ads. Despite being called "Magazine" ads, none of these appeared in any real-life magazine issues and are only based on the likeness of the original magazine ads.

==Espresso Advertisements==
Finder Lurker had also created "Espresso" advertisements, which are very short videos with scaled-down screamers, usually in the Instagram/TikTok format, and specifically designed for such. They usually feature some kind of "Challenge" or meme-related thing for a couple of seconds, or sometimes even minutes, depending on the theme, before the ghost-like creature jumps up or down from either side of the screen, screaming for a short period before ducking and then showing the product information. In this case, it's advertising their "Espresso To-Go" drinks from the company's old, one of their original websites from during 2007-2008 that they previously had advertised, which can even be seen on the [[Wayback Machine]] revisions.<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20070527145305/http://www.k-fee.com/</ref> There never used to be any advertisements for this, and that is why Finder Lurker had particularly made it a thing.

== Trivia ==
* The Buddha statue from the "Light" version of the "Concert" advertisement is a direct nod to the Buddha advertisement from the official commercials.
* Due to the rather advanced nature of the advertisements, unlike a lot of other K-fee parodies, many K-fee fans believed the advertisements were official. They are even treated as such in the community.
* According to Devin, the background footage was taken in 2016.
* There is a small rumor that these advertisements were originally on the K-fee official site and that they were deleted, but this was never proven. The website went defunct in 2011, too.
* This is the only series of screamers Devin did where he did not do the scream himself to match the likeness of the original advertisements and keep the same spirit and atmosphere.
* A running gag throughout the creation of these advertisements was "recipe" being misspelled as "recipie".
* Originally, Devin was going to use all of his friends as unique monsters for each video, but this was scrapped.
* Before 2021, all of the new commercial parodies had a 2D animated can of K-fee at the end showcasing the product, and now it has a CG can of K-fee instead, along with re-recordings of the narrators.
* On 8th June 2021, Devin uploaded a compilation of the original K-fee commercials from 2004 to the Finder Lurker channel, with the jumpscares featuring his ghost-like monsters in place of the usual zombie and gargoyle.

However, after about 17 seconds, a close-up scene of a giant spider with human legs (a scene from the first episode) appears, accompanied by a loud edited noise. It then shows the Bagge Farmhouse again, and the announcer says: ''Ahora sabes cómo se siente'' (Now you know how it feels), and the commercial ends. The commercial was controversial because it frightened younger viewers.

Despite being called "Magazine" ads, none of these appeared in any real-life magazine issues and are only based on the likeness of the original magazine ads.

==Espresso Advertisements==
Finder Lurker had also created "Espresso" advertisements, which are very short videos with scaled-down screamers, usually in the Instagram/TikTok format, and specifically designed for such. They usually feature some kind of "Challenge" or meme-related thing for a couple of seconds, or sometimes even minutes, depending on the theme, before the ghost-like creature jumps up or down from either side of the screen, screaming for a short period before ducking and then showing the product information. * The Buddha statue from the "Light" version of the "Concert" advertisement is a direct nod to the Buddha advertisement from the official commercials.
* Due to the rather advanced nature of the advertisements, unlike a lot of other K-fee parodies, many K-fee fans believed the advertisements were official. They are even treated as such in the community.
* According to Devin, the background footage was taken in 2016.

These commercials have been heavily criticized for their content and many feel that the adverts are very unprofessional and upsetting. However, their shocking nature is designed to simulate the effect that the product has on the viewer.

The commercials consist of peaceful scenes, such as a car driving down a grassy hillside to soothing music. However, at some point in the ad, the scene gets briefly interrupted by either a zombie or a gargoyle screaming at the camera, followed by the company's advertising campaign and the product, accompanied by a fast heartbeat.

K-fee received a lot of complaints from their viewers, and soon after that, the ads stopped being aired on television. Some people say that on some other occasions, a warning message was displayed before the advert played, informing any young children, easily scared individuals, and people with heart or certain health conditions to not view the footage. However, this is unproven.

An episode of ''[[Wikipedia:The Tonight Show with Jay Leno|The Tonight Show with Jay Leno]]'', aired in April 2005, featured a segment where the audience and [[wikipedia:Jay Leno|Jay]] reacted to K-fee's ''Car'' commercial. It was hosted on K-fee's official website from 2005 to 2007 along with the other adverts. The K-fee ''Car'' commercial was also featured in 2005 on ''[[wikipedia:...on Television|Tarrant on TV]]'', a famous British show, as well as on ''[[America's Funniest Home Videos]]''.

In the summer of 2019, American musician, animator, and [[YouTube]]r Devin Millar, under his Finder Lurker alias, created 21 videos of what "modernized" advertisements for the now-defunct coffee-flavored energy drink company [[K-fee]] would’ve looked like. These commercials are similar to the [[K-fee commercials|original advertisements]] the company had originally made.

Devin originally claimed the ads were official, but this was proven to be false. Devin did the editing, filming, narration, and even the monster all by himself.

==The commercials==
There are English, German, Espresso, Radio, and even poster advertisements of the commercials, all created by Finder Lurker, and they are all in similar formulas to the original advertisements. They all start with a peaceful scene along with peaceful music, before getting briefly interrupted by a monster at the end, screaming and possibly scaring the viewer. Except instead of Adam, or Brad Johnson, it is Devin Millar himself as a Demonic Ghost-like creature with dark eyes and a long smile. (Similar to that of [[Jeff the Killer]], or [[Momo]].)

Finder Lurker had also created "Espresso" advertisements, which are very short videos with scaled-down screamers, usually in the Instagram/TikTok format, and specifically designed for such. They usually feature some kind of "Challenge" or meme-related thing for a couple of seconds, or sometimes even minutes, depending on the theme, before the ghost-like creature jumps up or down from either side of the screen, screaming for a short period before ducking and then showing the product information. On June 5, 2023, Xploshi uploaded a version of the video titled "Wake Up Jeff DVD Game (SCARY EDITION)." The footage included added text, "OR ELSE," and "OR SOMETHING VERY BAD MIGHT HAPPEN…" which appeared on the screen after Jeff greeted the viewer with "Here we go!". Suddenly, the face from [[What's Wrong With This Picture?|What's Wrong?]] would appear on the screen along with a male scream (which is actually an "aaa" meme where a man screams at a battery.). After the screamer, the video would cut to a distorted head of [[Wikipedia:Jeff Fatt|Jeff Fatt]] with its eyes blacked out and mouth stretched. The text would read "ALERT (78) Wiggles have been dispatched to your last known location."

Subsequently, the video cuts back to Jeff in his car, seemingly falling asleep with his eyes closed. A face with blacked-out eyes and mouth would then appear, accompanied by the same scream from the previous screamer. After this, another screamer would emerge, featuring Anthony in the bottom right-hand corner with a face similar to Tinky Winky from ''Slendytubbies,'' and the same scream from the previous screamers. Following this screamer, Anthony's face would fade away, and he would say, "Jeff has fallen asleep again! Could you help '''make the voices stop? Please make the voices stop. I can’t handle the voices.'''"

Another screamer would follow, with many moving eyes on a black background and the same scream from the previous ones. After the screamer, the text below would read "Wake up Jeff!" and Jeff would start to drive to the left. The same "magenta face" would appear again, but the text would change to read "You should be able to hear them approaching." In the background, knocking sounds can be heard. Another screamer would suddenly appear, featuring the same face from Dane Boe's ''Scarier Faces'' video.

The video would then cut back to Jeff driving to the left. Later, it would show Jeff driving off a cliff while sleeping, and the car would explode as it fell off the cliff. Following this, it would cut to an image of Ji-Hyun (the character portrayed by the South Korean actress [[Wikipedia:Park Ji-hyun (actress)|Park Ji-hyun]]) from the found footage supernatural horror film ''[[wikipedia:Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum|Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum]]'', along with text that reads "Was it worth it?" On the third frame, a live map of a location, likely in the UK, would be shown with a red circle labeled "YOU." The commercials consist of peaceful scenes, such as a car driving down a grassy hillside to soothing music. However, at some point in the ad, the scene gets briefly interrupted by either a zombie or a gargoyle screaming at the camera, followed by the company's advertising campaign and the product, accompanied by a fast heartbeat.

K-fee received a lot of complaints from their viewers, and soon after that, the ads stopped being aired on television. Some people say that on some other occasions, a warning message was displayed before the advert played, informing any young children, easily scared individuals, and people with heart or certain health conditions to not view the footage. However, this is unproven.

An episode of ''[[Wikipedia:The Tonight Show with Jay Leno|The Tonight Show with Jay Leno]]'', aired in April 2005, featured a segment where the audience and [[wikipedia:Jay Leno|Jay]] reacted to K-fee's ''Car'' commercial. It was hosted on K-fee's official website from 2005 to 2007 along with the other adverts. Oh it's a sweet, sweet world was a commercial that was later released as an online ad in 2013 by Cadbury. however, it contains a [[screamer]] at the end.

The ad begins with the peaceful showing footage of evening skies as a quiet piano piece plays. Eventually, the ad moves on to footage of babies giggling and playing with each other. However, after 26 seconds, a picture of [[Regan MacNeil]] from [[wikipedia:The Exorcist|The Exorcist]] pops up and zooms normally though with the same scream from [[The Maze]], and other screams are mixed.

The ad also ends with a message telling the viewer to have a happy Halloween. It was part of the #NotSoSweet campaign.

Similar to the original ads, the videos showed unrelated clips in the beginning, which at some point in the video would be interrupted by either a zombie or a gargoyle, using the footage from the actual [[K-fee commercials]] with a green screen or purple screen effect. Clips of the zombie and gargoyle with the green/purple screen were available on Timotunes channel for those who wish to create their own re-enactments before his channel was deleted.

Inspired by a similar video about the original commercials, Timotunes also uploaded "''When K-fee Commercial Re-enactment Attacked''" on November 19th, 2016, playing the footage of nine of his re-enactments at the same time.

The main menu features the Japanese title "まぢいらいら某" which translates as: "Steady Hand (Madji iraraibo)" and text below the title "STARTを押すとすぐに始まります作りが雑ですいません" which translates from Japanese to English into "game will start immediately after you press START".

The gameplay is to guide a dot through the maze surrounded by thin walls and to reach its end. The player advanced to the next level after reaching and clicking that "G O A L" button. Once before the player reaches the end of Level 2, a black-and-white portrait of a baby wearing a sheep costume doing the [[Harlequin Fetus|harlequin fetus]] pose (taken from [[Wikipedia:Deathrealm|Deathrealm]]'s magazine cover) appears in a solid red background, accompanied by a loud edited roar, which is later used in [[Zoeken]].

In 2005, there was an unofficial English version of ''Steady Hand'' titled ''Tiny Dot Maze''. This version featured minor changes, such as a different menu screen and the "Game Over" message being replaced with "DAMN!". The game's website claimed to reward anyone who completed the supposed "Level 10" with $100, however, upon reaching the end, the player was instead greeted with the [[Hai2u]] image accompanied by a puking sound. Unlike the original, where the screamer appeared just before the end, this version displays the image after the player dies. Afterwards, players are redirected to a page titled "results.php", which displays a message stating "Whoops looks like our maze is a little buggy!!" along with a hyperlink allowing the viewer to replay the game.
