This video was recorded in Arkansas, USA, and it was supposed to be an advertisement for a local ballet club, but they had rejected it due to the scary nature.

It starts by showing a small room with a TV with static to the right. Then, a young girl opens the door and enters the hallway from a dark room. She then starts dancing to the relaxing and elegant piano music ballerina-style. After a few seconds, when the girl exits the view and into the kitchen, a demonic red girl covered in blood and melted flesh with glowing white and green eyes pops up and screams at the camera in a very distorted way, The girl in the video's name is, Vanessa Silverstein, and the monster is her adoptive mom, Mary Wilson.

This explains the fact that the screamer and the dancing are actually separate scenes. (Indicated by the visible cuts when it comes.), Vanessa had nightmares after she saw her mom in the video scaring the viewer when she watched it for the first time after production, and was slightly afraid of her own mother for a week.

The video starts with a text in German stating ''"Huthsweg Productions prasentiert"'' ''"Verfolge den roten Punkt!"'' which translates to: "Huthsweg Productions presents Follow the red Dot!" Then, a red dot is shown moving across a white maze, like the title, which tells the player to follow the dot. As it reaches the end of the first maze, another maze comes out and the dot continues to move forward. Just before the dot reaches the end of the section, a close-up picture of [[Katie Embry]] from the movie ''The Ring'' appears with a loud noise until the end of the video. There's an alternative version in Spanish which is slightly different, the maze's color, which is light blue, the picture used is [[Regan MacNeil]] with a scream.
