The game itself contains a unique gameplay and objective, where the player is to drag a dot all the way of 9 or more levels, without hitting the walls, but if they do, this leads to back to the beginning and the player has to start over, the player can't cheat by right-clicking either.  
The game shares a similar objective and gameplay to the popular flash game ''[[The Maze]]'' where the player must navigate a red dot through eight levels without hitting the walls. If the player fails and hits a wall, they are sent back to the beginning of the game. Cheating is not possible as right-clicking is disabled. Each level is designed with a different colored path, and the difficulty increases with each level, featuring more intricate and narrower paths. However, upon completing the final level, the player triggers a sudden [[jump scare]] where a picture of a zombie from the trailer of ''Day of the Mummy'' appears on the screen, accompanied by a loud scream.

Help the Cube is a screamer game that gained popularity on Scratch after its release on February 26, 2021, by Aidangonzo123.
