Eyes on the Eclipse of the Moon was a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by VideoScreams on July 12, 2008. The video begins by explaining to the viewer that on July 16, 2000, a family saw eyes during the eclipse of the moon. The viewer is instructed to look closely for “eyes” on the moon and a clip of the moon from that date plays for a few seconds. Then, text pops up saying “Did you see the pair of eyes? Take a closer look.” The video plays for a few seconds but this time, at the 30 second mark, a picture of a monster with a high pitched scream pops up. Red bloody text pops up saying “GOT YA!”.
