Neru Game is a Vocaloid-based platform game created and published to Gamejolt by NovaWare, the creator of Sonic2.exe series, on March 24th, 2014.
The game is similar to that of Luna Game series. Neru Game begins with Fanloid character Neru on a platform resembling Minecraft grass. On-screen text prompts "Press Space to interact," allowing players to control Neru as she jumps across platforms. Upon reaching another Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku, she informs Neru that Rin is looking for her. As Neru walks away, the screen darkens suddenly, revealing a startling image of Kagamine Rin accompanied by a laugh from the creepypasta Ben Drowned. The game abruptly closes, and Rin's eerie sounds follow, leading to a disturbing image of Rin with hollow eyes and dark liquid, accompanied by the scream used in The Maze and the text reading "The end is near." The screen then closes again.
