At first, people started talking about the [[shock site]] a long time ago in a thread on a Japanese [[website]] called ''[[wikipedia:LiveDoor|LiveDoor]]'' on February 3rd, 2020. These "harassment" [[websites]] moved around very often because many people kept reporting them to many different internet companies.<ref name="mustnotsearch" /> While some of the most site's content including animal abuse and generic [[shock sites]] (including [[Goatse]], [[Tubgirl]], etc.) were eventually taken away, the people who made the site on purpose used a company called Somee International Inc. because it was a very cheap way to keep their website running.<ref name="shuuus" /> Several Japanese users also sent messages under the hospital's [[wikipedia:Google Reviews|''Google Reviews'']] warning users about the existence of such site.
A few internet detectives discovered website's path to be a country far away from Japan. However, these clues are very hard to prove for sure; unless the computer server is run by a small person in another country. In this case, if the person who made the site just used a public [[wikipedia:Wi-Fi|Wi-Fi]] or a computer cafe, then it becomes almost impossible to find where the data really came from.<ref name="mustnotsearch" />
Debating of the site's purpose, many people think the creator might be a person who keeps bothering others by making many fake [[websites]] to hurt people's names. One common idea is that the person used to work at a company but was let go. In this story, a boss at a firm thought this person was malicious and decided to fire them; then, because they could not go to a real court, the person made these mean and hidden websites to get back at them. Some people who are watching the case also say that the creator likely spent a lot of time on [[Must Not Search]] wiki, because the site has many things that are just like what is found there.<ref name="mustnotsearch" />
People on the internet have slowly made their list of suspects smaller until only a few people are left. Some people really believe that the person is Hiromu Asami, a man who used to run [[Must Not Search]] and who supposedly posted on the [[wikipedia:5ch|5ch]] board.<ref name="mustnotsearch" /> Other people think it is a person called Kenpo-kun, because they saw that the website has a name very similar to his own blog, which is called Matsuyama Dokuhara.
