Lemon Party (domain: lemonparty.org) is a shock site that leads to an image, entitled "lemonparty.jpg" of two elderly men on a bed kissing each other, with another sucking on the penis of the one lying on the bed performing oral sex. It is commonly used as a bait-and-switch link by trolls in discussion forums and imageboard communities. This is one of the earliest shock sites that only shows a single image.

The site was possibly intended to lead people to believe it was about the Lemon Party of Canada, a Canadian political party from which the name was supposedly derived. This site was originally hosted by Eric Johnson, but was later passed on to other sellers who bought the domain. The Lemon Party (Parti Citron in French) was a satirical Canadian political party founded in 1987 and active until the mid-2000s, which advocated making Canada the world's lemon-growing capital. To do this, the party ironically embraced global warming and agitated for policies such as the abolition of the city of Toronto and the merging of the Great Lakes. It is unknown whether the Lemon Party and lemonparty.org are connected.

Originally registered on October 3rd, 2002, in Canada, according to DomainTools. and sold as an NFT on OpenSea, the site once featured a yellow text on the top left corner that said "Lemonparty.org", while "If You Wanna Be Happy" by Jimmy Soul plays. On November 21, 2002, the site added a link below the image that said "omfg crazy! Click here to wash your eyeballs!", which leads to an image of a kitten with medals below it. However, this link was removed shortly, on an unknown date. In 2003, the site just showed an image in the center of the page without the watermark and the link. Beginning in the late 2000s, the shock site was mentioned in several TV sitcom and talk show programs. including a comedy sketch on FOX late night program Talk Show with Spike Feresten, an episode of the radio show Opie and Anthony, an episode of E! TV show Chelsea Lately and NBC sitcom 30 Rock's Season 2, Episode 9 "Ludachristmas" and Season 4, Episode 18 "Khonani," as well as in animated TV series like Archer, The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show and American Dad.

Edited versions of the image, including one of a man named Keith Boadwee squirting blue paint from his anus, began to appear on the site by the 2010s. On December 27, 2013, Buzzfeed reporter Joseph Bernstein interviewed the original owner of the domain, Eric Johnson. The owner stated that he purchased the site for $450,000 and has been running the site for 9 years. Shortly thereafter, the site removed the image and was turned into a pornographic website, no longer relating to the classic Lemon Party itself. Later, the site put the image back in its original state. Johnson had also mentioned in the interview that the image had originated and spread "in the early aughts while being passed around internet relay chat".

As of right now, the site shows the image in HD while the title of this page reads: "Lemon Party - A game of bingo gone horribly wrong." The website then redirects to chat.poo.com.

Similar to other shock sites that began circulating at the same time, Lemon Party gained much of its notoriety through usage in bait-and-switch pranks among friends as well as trolling on various online discussion forums. The site made "lemon party" into a mainstream term for elderly people having gay sex, and has since sometimes been criticized as homophobic shock humor. One of the most widespread schemes used to trick people into visiting the site involves sending flyers with misleading messages, often of a political nature, so that unsuspecting targets would believe they were navigating to the site of a political party.- Urban Dictionary definition of "Lemon Party" was submitted by user DynamiteRave on August 15th, 2004.

• Lemon Party is a compound word that's combined with "Lemon" (as slang, meaning "old men") and "Party". With this combined, its meaning could possibly be a party of old men.
• The old men in the image could be the same people in Nobrain.dk, also known as My Lazy Sundays and Canadian Tea Party, due to their similar appearance.
• "Lemon Party" is referenced in the 2011 video game The Binding of Isaac, where it is the name of one of the pill effects.
• On June 25, 2007, a discussion about "Lemon Party" was featured on the Opie & Anthony radio show with Jimmy Fallon. In the same year, an episode of the American sitcom 30 Rock ("Ludachristmas") referred to it, and a video discussion about lemonparty.org by Superbad stars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera went viral.
• Lemon Party was mentioned in episodes of Chelsea Lately, American Dad ("Killer Vacation"), Archer ("Double Trouble"), and The Simpsons ("Flaming Moe") in 2011 and 2012.
• The name is sometimes used jokingly, as in "Hey, there's a lemon party tonight and you're invited!", which is often shortened to "you're invited."
• Lemon Party serves as the cover artwork for Ménage à trois!, a three-way split album between goregrind acts Ultimo Mondo Cannibale, Engulfed in Flies, and Bestial Vomit.
