Hitomiharassment was a shock site created sometime in 2024 by user 'Tukineko'.

History

Hitomiharassment was originally hosted on Neocities web hosting service in early 2024. Several months before being discontinued off the platform it was at one point unexpectedly replaced with a redirect to Last Measure mirror.

An anonymous user, allegedly the owner of hitomiharassment, commented as Kcaplund on the now-deleted Matsuyama Dokuhara article. The work's true purpose is revealed as targeting unspecified animal abuse groups with shock imagery, though no further details about the work or the target have been provided.

Content

The opening webpage features a title and text that reads 'Click Enter.' The interactive image covers the entire section and is designed to be clickable; when hovered over, it has Islamophobic and kaomoji text written in the back of it, reading:

"terrorist act middle east terrorism terrorist hunting permit ctu edu september 11 terrorist terrorist handbook (=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)(=^・^=)"

Once clicked, the button triggers a montage of pornographic and gore content, accompanied by the following events:

• The entire background of the website changes to hitomi.gif.
• It opens multiple browser windows to blacklivesmatterin.cf and its subpage blacklivesmatterin.cf/test.html. These pages also spam additional browser windows redirecting to other shock videos sourced from a dead Discord link.

• Other videos lead to catbox.moe instead.

• It plays an overlapping mix of electronic music and loud, disturbing audio files named V.mp3, 1.mp3, and wooo.mp3.
• The user is automatically logged out of social media platforms whitelisted in the source code, including Google, Twitter, LiveJournal, and MySpace.

The site's source code was clearly taken from another shock site called blacklivesmatterin.cf. It features barely any changes, save for a few Japanese phrases encoded within it, such as:

• ひとみハラスメント。虐待を許しません ("Hitomi harassment. We do not tolerate abuse.")
• メンヘラ嫌味の鬼才 ("A genius at snide remarks—with a touch of 'menhera' instability.")
• メンヘラ ("Menhera" / emotionally unstable / attention-seeking)
• ひとみハラスメント ("Hitomi harassment" / eye-contact harassment)

Aside from this, the original source text contains a large amount of unused and broken JavaScript, such as functions that are never properly executed (e.g., creationsystem() and moveWindowWithWowEffect()), loading improper audio arrays (such as HEY.html), and event handlers that rely on non-existent or incorrectly referenced elements. As a result, large portions of the script effectively do not run.

hitomi.gif

hitomi.gif was an animated GIF that plays when the user clicks the button, featuring an epilepsy-inducing strobe-flash loop of shocking imagery. This includes an infamous photograph of Goatse, screenshots of beheading videos including Mayengg03, an infant with harlequin-type ichthyosis, severe road accidents, and other disturbing medical photographs.

It was designed to play in the background while automatically attempting to download onto the user's computer without consent. Had the user not permitted the website to download multiple files, a browser feature disabled by default, this download would not have occurred instantly.
