''Castle Cat'' is a flash game made for the website Mausland.de in 2004 by a man known as Felix Wiesner (or just Weisi for short). He is infamous for making tasteless and weird, sometimes even pornographic flash games. However, Castle Cat, is just weird. It has since had three sequels, also playable on Mausland, but all games can be easily found on various websites. Castle Cat 4, however, is infamous for having a quite gruesome game over that may count as a [[screamer]].

In the first game, the player will first be given instructions, which talks about the arrow keys to move, the objective is to guide the cat to make his way up on the castle, by jumping over the clouds, all of the enemies are placed in the clouds, and there is a tornado which pushes the cat away, the only enemies include Knights and Clowns, if the cat makes a contact with the knight, the player will lose a life, if making contact with the clown, will give you bonus points, and was given a time, to go up on the castle, to encourage them to go quicker, the time is set to almost 2 minutes, when the player die's, it will show a game over screen which shows "Castle Cat" with bandages on his head, mumbling in disappointment (in Daffy Duck's voice).
==='''Castle Cat 2'''===
In the second game, the player was given instructions again, but now gives you a weapon to take down the enemies, to make it a fair game, the CTRL keys for Cannon attack, and the spacebar is Mace attack, and the arrow keys are for moving and jumping, after ditching the castle, the player's objective is to make's it way through the Sunny shores of Miami, the enemies include octopus and cars, when the player progress through, the player must fight the big crab, unlike the first game, the time is set to 4 minutes, the game over screen is normal as the first one, but the cat doesn't have horrendous injuries.
==='''Castle Cat 3'''===
In the third game, the instructions are the same as the second game, but it tells you to collect the glowworms to earn 1000 points, as well as telling you to jump over the cactuses in order to bounce over the enemies, the gameplay is now harder than both of these games, the player's objective is to make its way through Las Vegas to defeat Siegfried and Roy, the enemies include aliens with a gun that shoots lasers, and a snake, after progressing through, you have encountered a shop. which sells weapons and costumes, and costs around 1000 points, when the player dies, a black garbage bag is shown with a label reading: "DEAD CAT" on it. It is unknown where this image originated from.
==='''Castle Cat 4'''===
In the fourth game, the story is about his princess who have been kidnapped by a Dungeon dog, and you have to defeat him with your weapons, the player is now allowed to upgrade their weapons, and the enemies only involve enemies wearing futuristic armor, killing you with his electric laser gun, when the player dies, Castle Cat 4's game over screen is far more disturbing. The game over screen in this game is a black and white photo of a woman holding a rotten, roadkilled cat with the message: "YOU ARE DEAD !!! PLAY AGAIN " in bold yellow text.

There is an upcoming game called "Castle Cat 5", that has been around for over 9 years, the creator decided to abandoned his website along with his game.

The Castle Cat series is a well-known collection of platformer games created by the late Felix Wiesner, also known as Wiesi. It first emerged as a Flash game hosted on mausland.de in 2004. Wiesi is recognized for his creations of bizarre and, at times, even pornographic Flash games.[1] The series includes four distinct games, each with its own unique theme and challenges.

Gameplay

The Castle Cat series consists of several platformer games where players control a feline protagonist. In the first installment, players use the arrow keys to guide the cat up the sky-high castle towers by jumping across floating clouds. Enemies such as Knights and Clowns (Jesters) patrol the platforms; touching a Knight costs the player a life, while bumping into a Clowns awards bonus points. Players must also navigate sudden tornadoes that can push the cat off course, all within a strict two-minute time limit.

When the player loses, a game-over screen appears showing Castle Cat covered in bandages. The bruised cat mouths a classic Daffy Duck audio clip: "Right in the mouth! Every morning, the same thing."

Castle Cat 2

The second game introduces an expanded arsenal, equipping players with multiple weapons to take down enemies. Movement and jumping are handled by the arrow keys, while the Cannon and Mace attacks are mapped to the CTRL keys and the spacebar, respectively. The setting shifts dramatically to the sunny shores of Miami, where players face bizarre new adversaries like aggressive octopuses and rogue cars, culminating in an epic boss battle against a giant crab. To accommodate these larger stages, the time limit is extended to four minutes.

The game-over screen lightens the defeat by showing Castle Cat escaping without any severe injuries.

Castle Cat 3 & 4 Game Over screens

In the third game, a disturbing game-over screen appears, depicting a black garbage bag labeled "DEAD CAT."

The fourth game's game-over screen features a black-and-white photo of a woman holding a rotten, roadkilled cat accompanied by golden-yellow Impact font text that reads: "YOU ARE DEAD !!! PLAY AGAIN."

Meanwhile, the creator's website was eventually shut down and parked likely because the domain registration lapsed due to non-payment. Additionally, a fifth installment, Castle Cat 5, was left as a work-in-progress built in GDevelop, confirming that development on the sequel had officially begun.[2][3]

On November 16th, 2023, Newgrounds founder Tom Fulp announced that Felix Wiesner unfortunately passed away from health complications due to the suddenly of Lymphoma[4] leaving Castle Cat 5's development canceled. It is left unknown what the game over screen will be. Wiesner was also the creator of Miami Shark, which accumulated over 17,015,401 views and was once featured on the front page.
