Monkey Sugar was a shock site made in 2002 that contained a flash animation. Originally, it was a website that collected various pictures of dead people, diseases, deformed bodies, pornographic images, vulgar comics, and gruesome and pornographic videos, and the flash animation can be viewed on the “What is MonkeySugar?” tab. Sometime in 2008, the website was changed to display only the flash animation.

Content

Upon starting, the shock site would show a black background along with some green text, and the text-to-speech voice Microsoft Mary explaining the meaning of the term Monkey sugar. She starts saying that monkey sugar is "Anything that makes one physically satisfied. By extension, anything good or desirable.", and once she finishes speaking this, the text changes and she continues: "The following are examples of things which are most certainly NOT monkey sugar...". 4 seconds later, the stock music track "African Serengheti" by Stephen Bashaw starts playing as numerous shocking and disturbing images appear in a unique slideshow-like format, such as:

• A severed head.
• A vagina with syringe needles in it.
• A disembodied arm.
• Damaged anuses.
• Someone sticking their arms into a vagina.
• A mutilated penis with a tube in it.
• Aborted fetuses.
• A baby born with anencephaly.
• A deformed conjoined twin fetus.
• A half-burned baby.
• A baby with a giant red eye.
• A harlequin fetus.
• A cat having blood drawn/getting vaccinated.
• A man with a fleshy ball on an intestine dangling from his legs.
• A man with a large third degree burn on his face.
• A breast nailed to a table.
• A belly tattoo of a nude women spreading her legs and a wolf shouting “Lunch!”.
• A faceless corpse.
• Flayed testicles.
• An image of a circumcision procedure.
• Mutilated penises and groinal areas.
• A man with part of his face blown off.
• A woman eating feces from another person's anus, which is also featured on the Pain Series.
• A close up image of a drowned woman’s swelled face.
• An image of one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victim’s dead body.
• A split-open hand.
• The Pillsbury Doughboy seeing a woman cooking what appears to be his species taken from rotten.com.
• A partially-skinned lower body.
• The Crackfile.org image.
• A hand in a meat grinder.
• A split-open neck.
• A man with a handle in his eye.
• A severed head on a plate.
• A man lying in blood with a cloth in his mouth.
• A vagina with forceps in it.
• An injured eye.
• Severed legs.
• Giant testicles.
• A neck dissection.
• Mutilated body parts.
• An image of Kurt Cobain’s dead body.
• A maggot-infested toe.
• A tied-up man.
• A woman with flatten breasts attached to a board.
• Two fleshy testicles.
• Severed legs in a box.
• Two severed heads kissing.
• A decomposing dead body
• A woman with champagne bottles in her vagina and anus.
• More mutilated corpses.

After the music stops playing, the montage would fade out and the video would cut to some green text saying "Monkey Sugar: Don't leave home without it."
