The Green Ribbon of Death is a YouTube originated screamer uploaded in May 2008 by a user haloatlantis.
The video shows images captured by the channel owners' computers to demonstrate an effect known as the "Green Ribbon Of Death". The video prompts the player to take a closer look by placing their face on the screen. At 30 seconds, a creepy picture of Zombie Spider-Man with an open jaw appears along with a loud, male scream. The video then cuts a video of some shelves with the creator saying, "Payback's a bitch!".
