Shake That Bear was a shock site created and hosted in 2007. The video had been taken down several times due to "animal cruelty."

Before watching, the website displays a warning: "If you are not an adult, if you are easily offended, or if you don't like wierd shit. GO AWAY NOW!" The phrase "GO AWAY NOW!" redirects users to Disney.com, while the text "If you are an adult where you live and you like to see wierd [sic] and sick shit, then ok click here" links to video.html.
The video, which bears an eFukt watermark, depicts a woman hunting in the woods. After shooting a wild bear from a tree, the woman gets taken from behind atop the animal's corpse before the "giver" ultimately ejaculates onto her back in climax. Later, the footage changes to a pack of dogs dragging and eating the bear before the group of hunters drink beer out of celebration.
Find that bear
On Reddit, a user from r/askreddit confirmed watching the video while browsing pornographic content on eFukt and responded "people fucking suck sometimes."[1] The post also includes a brief description of Eel Soup, which also appears on a certain section of that website.
Although the video (did) originated from eFukt, no direct link remains on the site. Wayback Machine records reveals a particular video titled Riding Bear Back, which contains a caption reading: "This is probably the most fucked up thing I’ll ever post here. This shit is fucking lame..." Given the disturbing content and the specific wording of the caption, this upload likely represents the video in question.
Apparently, the eFukt owner deleted the video to prevent a site shutdown for animal cruelty, which led to him creating a separate website for that specific clip. Although that latter remains ambiguous whether shakethebear.com and eFukt share the same owner. Given the nature of eFukt, this segment was merely an anonymous submission rather than from a video tape, documentary, or weird pornographic websites.
The original footage might have been twice as longer than expected since the owner admits re-editing through submissions to highlight the "best scenes."
Web crawlers also captured hidden text directing users to See more at liveleak.com/view?i=94f_1343002966. This specific link leads not to the bear video, but to a clip of a Mexican cartel murder titled "Evil Does Not Need Guns."[2][3] Contrary to popular belief, LiveLeak did host the bear video at liveleak.com/view?i=af1_1341239155, though moderators quickly removed it for "a possible violation of our terms of service."[4]
Urban Dictionary
Urban Dictionary entries from January 2008 describe the content as "quite possibly the most shameless and disgusting video involving sexual intercourse and a dead bear out there right now" or an "internet phenomenon with involes [sic] a girl in the wilderness shooting down a bear. Than taking up the ass on the bear." Because users posted both entries in early 2008, one can assume that the video was trending during that period or atleast earlier than that.[5]
