This "click here" link lures viewers to the index.html section, which prompts: "Don't look for Wally; BGM will play, so please turn on the sound and enjoy♪" (ウォーリーを探さないで BGMが流れるので音を出してお楽しみください♪).
While the message above could be taken as a direct warning, turn up their speakers and listen to the background music, the source code actually contains no audio file. This absence implies the "BGM" either never existed, resulting in a silent page, or relied on plugins supported only by legacy browsers like ''[[wikipedia:Internet Explorer|Internet Explorer]]'' or ''[[wikipedia:Mozilla Firefox|Mozilla Firefox]]''.
The website’s history shows there is little to no change. The first version does not feature the advertisements for 65 Exchange. A next update added a view counter, a main banner, and links to the news section of its sister site, <code>willserver.com/freewill/</code>. Web crawlers identified the specific [[Flash]] files used for the screamer as ''freewill.swf'' and ''w.swf'' ("w" for "Waldo").
''office-will.com'' was once a website that formerly distributed viruses, SOS messaging, and public news. Despite the "Free Will" site shutting down, the 65ex links redirecting to parked domains, and the "music" page becoming a dead link, the page for ''Where's Waldo?" still remain active and unchanged.
Although the game was originally uploaded to Newgrounds two months prior, it was often misattributed to the obscure link 'office-will.com.' Most Japanese users would simply visited the latter without a doubt.
