SpongeBob Foto Flip Flip was a screamer game used as a promotional advertisement for Fred: The Movie on September 10th, 2010. It disguises itself as a SpongeBob-themed "find the difference"-esque game.
The game starts with a main menu featuring upbeat background music and a note suggesting players turn up their volume, hinting they may find clues. The objective is to find at least 5 differences between two images within a 30-second timer. Players click on the differences they spot, marking them with a red circle with a black center. The differences include:
- Patrick's right eyebrow missing
- Patrick having SpongeBob's freckles
- SpongeBob's tie missing
- SpongeBob's right sock having an extra red line
Only four differences are present, leaving players stumped as the timer expires. When time runs out, an image of Fred Figglehorn (played by YouTuber Lucas Cruikshank) appears screaming with the word "Surprise," followed by the message, "Gotcha Now, Get Your Friends!" revealing the screamer as an ad for the movie.
