Dan's Gallery of the Grotesque was a shock site created in 1995 that hosted pictures of murders, dead bodies, perverse sex acts, and crime scene photos[1]. It was the earliest shock site; and was created as a college project, but later got shutdown in 2001 before being apparently "mirrored"[2]. However, no such mirror can be found anywhere.
