Mario and luigi dances to Numa Numa!!!, also known as Mario Numa Numa Screamer was a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by user supermario4evah in 2009.
Content
The video is said to have been made using Windows Movie Maker, evidenced by white text on a blue background made by the creator informing the viewer about how hard they worked on creating the video, and to like, subscribe, and enjoy, followed by Mario and Luigi’s dancing sprites from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga with Dragostea Din Tei (Radu Sirbu Remix) (better known as Numa Numa) playing. This lasted until at the 1:46 timestamp, the screen suddenly froze and glitched for 5 seconds before cutting to black. After that, the video showed Mario and Luigi staring at the viewer with bloodshot eyes, lasting for 15 seconds until the screen glitched again, followed by Mario and Luigi shaking with no pupils and wide open mouths, with a scream. This lasted until the screen glitched again and froze, followed by the video ending.
Reception
The video gained negative reception, with the uploader receiving negative comments, including threats. In 2013, this led the maker to deleting the video along with their channel, resulting in the video becoming lost.
Hunt
On July 6th, 2021, a lost media hunt began for the video when a user named danielkuromifan asked if anyone on the Lost Media Wiki forums saw the video in 2011. After the post, users had made recreations of what they believe the video may have looked like. After 4 years of searching, the original video was eventually discovered, until it was deleted.
