Derived Puzzle is a screamer webpage created and hosted in Neocities by SkyBlueCatM on January 3rd, 2021. Derived Puzzle was created alongside the now-deleted and inaccessible No Escape and Red Button making it the only surviving screamer of the trio.

Drawing significant inspiration from the Japanese screamer Goodbye to the Dolphin's Dream, the website presents the user with a "game" consisting of three distinct navigational paths. While one path leads to the "ending", the remaining options function as hidden jump-scares.

The first button redirects the user to a message: "There is nothing here, Go back........." Yet, a hidden part of the content lies beneath this seemingly empty space, accessible through scrolling. This hidden white text provides players with a clue: the word "nothing" in the above text is more than it seems and functions as a link to another webpage. This link leads to the original archive of the Anne.jpg website.

The second button guides users to a page showcasing an image of a Japanese bedroom derived from Lomando.com's Tokonoma.html. Accompanying this image is a text inviting users to "Watch this room...... to relax........" Further scrolling reveals a black power button located at the bottom of the page. Clicking this button triggers a congratulatory message, telling them that they had found the ending of the "game."

Clicking the third button reveals an image of a skull, along with a corresponding text that encourages players to interact with this skull image. Upon doing so, it will download a Flash animation of Amy Peterson from Fright Night.
