Fall Out Boy Tribute
Fall Out Boy Tribute is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by gacktsthong on June 10th, 2006. The video's thumbnail contains a screamer, which already gives it away.
The video begins by telling the viewer to "maximize" their window to "fully appreaciate"[sic] the tribute. It should be noted that "appreciate" is clearly misspelled, as mentioned in the description, where the creator noted: "Hrmmm...just realized 'appreciate' is mispelled"[sic]. The text "Fall Out Boy" then slides off to the right, fading into a picture of the band (likely from around 2005). The words "The Dorks" appear on the left-hand side while a beeping sound plays and the song "Nobody Puts Baby In the Corner" by the same band plays in the background.
However, a picture of Cheryl Williams from the 1981 horror film The Evil Dead (with a mosaic effect and captioned "Die!!") briefly flashes on screen, this occurs 3 times and at random intervals, alongside more images of the band, captioned "Live Performances". A few seconds later, during "The Fans" segment, the same screamer image appears but without any FX or caption, rotating clockwise with a black and white filter before inverting and then returning to normal colors, accompanied by a loud scream. After this, the text "Ooooopss..." appears against a background flashing between rainbow colors, while the same beeping sound from earlier playing. The text "It's Another" is now displayed, followed by a picture of Katie Embry from The Ring with large sliding text reading "Die!!!!", immediately followed by screamer images such as the What's Wrong face and Creepy Ugly Guy, accompanied by another scream. Yellow text reading "Pop Up" appears, followed by the word "Video", at which point the Cheryl Williams screamer flashes in inverted colors in the background.
The video concludes by apologizing to anyone who was "actually" scared and rolling credits appear alongside a slideshow of band images on the left-hand side, set to the song Dead on Arrival by the same band playing in the background.
