The video begins with a static image of the Gummibär character and some text in Spanish, telling viewers that they might have never noticed it may be a Satanic song and that they should listen to it to draw their own conclusions. The description also goes along with the trick, simply instructing viewers to listen for hidden messages. The Spanish version of the Gummy Bear Song then plays in the background. The image on-screen shifts to the classic 'Evil Gummy Bear' face, originating from this exact internet legend. The song plays in reverse, with text on screen telling the viewer that the song will now be played in reverse, instructing to follow the subtitles. As the song plays, multiple bad messages appear as lyrics, implying that the song truly is evil.
However, once the song ends, a cropped photo of Katie Embry from The Ring appears on-screen with a loud scream. The video ends with blue Windows Movie Maker text instructing the viewer again to draw their conclusions, while also telling them that there are many songs with hidden messages and that this is one of them. Since the day it was uploaded, the video has amassed over 3 million views.
